These instructions are for the 996 collapsible spare kit which some people carry in their 997s.

NOTE: If you have 5mm spacers, leave them on.

NOTE: If you have 17mm spacers, remove the spacers from the hub and use the removed lugbolts to secure the spare.

1. Mount the collapsible spare wheel on thevehicle before inflating it.

2. Screw filler hose of the compressor onto the tire valve.

3. Insert plug of the compressor into the cigarette lighter. The required filling pressure will be reached after a few minutes.

4. Required filling pressure: 36 psi (2.5 bar).If the pressure is too high, release some air by pressing the valve insert.
